INREDIS (Relational Interfaces between Environment and people with Disabilities).

INREDIS is a CENIT (National Strategic Consortia in Technological Research and Development) project which is part of the Spanish government's initiative, INGENIO 2010, managed by CDTI (the Industrial Technology Development Centre). INREDIS will carry out basic research in the field of accessible and interoperable technologies over the period from 2007 to 2010. Its objective is to develop basic technologies that will enable the creation of channels for communication and interaction between people with some kind of special need, and their environment. The INREDIS Project will cover technological objectives relevant to diverse ICTs advanced contexts . The research is structured in nine main workpackages covering the main aspects needed to achieve a major technological advance in the design of accessible and interoperable technology.

En el projecte participen també un ampli grup d'Organismes Públics de Recerca i Centres de Recerca Tecnològica a més de l'Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, VICOMTech, Fundación Vodafone España, Universidad de Málaga, Fundació CIM, Barcelona Digital Centre Tecnològic, Robotiker, Universidad del País Vasco, European Software Institute, Universitat Ramón Llull - La Salle, Universitat de València, Universidad de Extremadura, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, Instituto Ibermática de Innovación, Centre Tecnològic de Manresa, Centro Tecnológico CETEMMSA e Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia.
