University 2.0: innovative resources for people with disabilities


University 2.0 project studies the level of integration of Web 2.0 tools in Spanish higher education and the opportunities and benefits of these tools for the inclusion of students with disabilities, through, also, Universal Instructional Design. For this, the study first exposes current requirements around equal opportunities in higher education and defines the educational and technological context. It also investigates on the habits and attitudes of disabled students. Also identify what are the 2.0 technologies applicable in teaching at university, specifying the degree of accessibility. Also shows examples of good practice in the use of 2.0 tools in the Universal Instructional Design.
